They provide a comprehensive range of circulation and fulfilment bureau services including data processing, orderpayment processing, contact centre, logistics, distribution and marketing support. They provide these services for diverse clients serving over 150 countries Purpose of the job As a member of a dedicated IT team supporting a global business, you will play a hands on role. From first line incident management through to delivery of business driven projects the ideal candidate will be both flexible and able to work independently. A sound knowledge of SSIS SSRS is essential. As well as the primary responsibilities of ensuring integrity and security of data, the databaseapplication support role will also be called upon to offer minor ETL enhancement and maintenance, and some application support where applicable. Main tasks responsibilities Provide 1st and 2nd line support as part of the IT Service Delivery team conforming to ITIL standards. Ownership of SQL database support and issue resolution, including database maintenance and performance. Ownership of ETL processes SSIS reporting SSRS. Responsible as part of the application team for the identification and resolution of system and application issues. Effective incident management and user communication across the business. Ensure currency compliancy of databases and processes for all relevant governance PCI DSS, SAS70, SOX Proactive investigations to enhance current applications and SSIS processes. Technical contact for managed services and 3rd party support.
