Functie PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE Market Managers are responsible for maximizing net revenue in assigned regions and markets through effective sourcing of hotel inventory and management of the commercial relationship and play an integral part of the team that makes inventory, pricing, and merchandising decisions for the region on behalf of the Orbitz Worldwide brands. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and maintain supplier relationships with hotel properties and hotel management companies Support hotel suppliers in managing inventory in all OWW sourcing systems to support the various brands including HotelClub, RatestoGo, Ebookers, Orbitz, CheapTickets etc. Analyze contracts, rate and inventory reports to gain in depth understanding of hotel suppliers in assigned markets Secure and negotiate competitive rates and inventory to meet room night targets, including peak periods Conduct weekly competitive analysis for market Monitor, evaluate, and report on individual accounts and markets progress toward achieving weekly, monthly, annual targets. Conduct supplier evaluations Understand highlow occupancy periods for assigned markets. Create and maintain calendars for key events developexecute plan for meeting market demand Monitor and analyze weekly sales reports to track progress and performance of hotel suppliers and markets Monitor fulfilment performance by hotel suppliers and address any problems or concerns Partner with Implementation group to address content or technical issues Develop and maintain Visitor and Convention Bureau and other relationships for assigned market as necessary
