Process Technology Engineer

Department SABIC Innovative Plastics in Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands seeks a high energy, goal focused individual who is proactive in problem solving and has the leadership and communication skills needed to help a diversified global business achieve its goals. The successful candidate will work in productprocess development and interface with manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to provide technical leadership in the design and commercialization of new products. The Challenge Responsibilities for the position include Developing new processes and improving existing processes to develop new monomer and polymer molecules and resins to provide growth to the business by accessing new markets. Working in an interdisciplinary team to define new opportunities and to find cost effective material and process solutions for new engineering materials. Extending rigor to take new products from the laboratory to the manufacturing floor, ensuring consistent manufacturing performance of the products. Your Profile Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related discipline 3 years of experience in an industrial setting in process technologyengineering. Experience with Specialty MonomersPolymers or extensive knowledge of unit operations in chemical industry Piloting and lab experience preferred. Excellent technical, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle diverse responsibilities. Willingness to be a team player.
